I can’t remember anything concrete about your past life, but maybe that’s okay. I have the chance to do something important here. The underground city is in a state of ruin, perhaps I can actually do something to change that. So I decide to leave whatever past life I had behind, and instead look to the future, here in the underground city. The Old Man holds out his hand and I enthusiastically shake it. He says he is incredibly glad and grateful that I have decided to help him and that they could use some new blood around here. I wonder what he means by that, but I suppose it doesn’t really matter anymore. He hands me a dirty notebook filled to the brim with notes about certain districts within the city and finances. The Old Man notices my worried expression and laughs, saying that he knows it can be overwhelming at first but that I’ll get the hang of it eventually. This is my home now, so it is up to me to try and make it a better place.
