Dead Zone

You’ve decided that you can’t risk the cube ending up in the wrong hands. The only option left is to ensure that it can never be accessed and weaponized again. 

The Dead Zone is the furthest you can get from civilization, mostly due to the fact that it contains the highest levels of radioactive fallout and anyone in a 100 mile radius wouldn’t survive the radiation poisoning for more than several hours.

You can see where this is going then. Considering that you’re now the sole guardian of the white cube and entirely responsible for its disposal – it means that you’ll be the one to hand deliver it to the Dead Zone. You didn’t think it would come to this but you find solace in knowing you’ve kept your promise to Mary and her discovery will never hurt someone again. Somehow you made all the right decisions to lead you to this final flight straight to death. 

Unfortunately, the suffering continues for the people on the ground. They continue to be abused for the benefit of the people in the sky who will remain ignorant to their suffering. You make a commendable sacrifice but… Try again.
