Observing Total Destruction (A)

I am now surrounded by fire, smoke, and ashes. I can barely see in front of me, and it hurts to breathe. Our world is on fire, and I am afraid that I have caused it. While resting my head on my arm, I notice that there is a place only a couple of feet away that could protect me from all of this smoke. It is off to my left, and has a blown off piece of wood leaned up against the wall. Of course it isn’t ideal, but it is better than being out in the open. I look around, and can see AZ4  lying on the floor, to the right, a little distance from me. I should wake them and protect us both.

As I try to move forward, I notice that my hands are wet, red with my blood. I must have been terribly injured and I now notice the puddle of blood that I have been lying in. It is nearly impossible to lift myself up onto all fours. Everytime I move my head, I am hit with a pang of dizziness. Unfortunately, I think that I am only able to do one or the other before I lose consciousness …

A) You go towards AZ4

B) You find shelter

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.
