Swept up by your emotions, you decide to accept your father’s offer. You forget about your mission completely as your father promises you a brighter future than what you had originally as a detective. You think to yourself that there will never be another opportunity like this. Taking your father’s word, you start up work as the new successor right away.
Many months later, your father tells you that you are ready to take his place as the new boss. You reminisce on the work you’ve done to get to this position. You can’t imagine life right now as a mere detective and are glad you took up your father’s offer when you first met him. At this point, you’ve done many illegal things and committed many financial crimes. Too many to count. To be the boss, morality has to be thrown out the window. It’s crucial for the sake of the company. For the sake of your father.
Your father tells you that he is proud of how far you have gotten. You are delighted to hear this and swear to yourself you’d do anything to satisfy your father’s expectations, even if you had to get blood on your hands.
