The crystal ball becomes hazy, as the psychic begins to look confused. She gasps and inhales, “you are not from here.” Two images flash across the ball as the psychic quickly grabs it hiding the images. She pushes me out of the shop. My heels dragging across the rough floor begging her to explain more. With a final push I am sent stumbling out the door, it slams behind me, and all the lights turn off. Leaving me on the street staring at the newly closed shop. I pick myself up as the breeze blows dirt across the concrete. The streets are quieter now, but my head is spiraling. Who was that gorgeous person and were they from their home? They didn’t really look like anyone from the underground. They were different and their faces felt familiar. There was also that symbol: the three separate petals that came together to form a wave. What could that mean? Was it something from the hospital or maybe it could help lead me to the truth?
