My interactive story

For my interactive story, the idea right now is to make something like The Last of Us. The story of The Last of us itself is very interesting and attractive to people. it makes people want to know what will happen next, and by adding in some limited interactive elements, it makes the player feels involved, but at the same time, it won’t affect how the story goes.

for my interactive story, i want to have two endings, and by adding in some limited interactive elements to make the player more involved, and maybe wondering how the story will end, but it can only goes into those two endings.

And i found out that it is really hard to find the balance between having how many limited interactive elements and the story can still be interesting and attractive to the player.

    Hello there! I love how you got inspired by “The Last of Us”, since it allows the player to be involved and also impact the environment. I find having the players choices actually *mean* something is really important not only in terms of story, but also gameplay 🙂

    However, do you know how you plan on implementing this? Will is be based of visuals, or is this going to be a text based story? It would be really interesting what you decide to choose, as you already stated that there needs to be a balance of how many limited interactive elements there needs to be, but also enough to make the story interesting.
