One’s Trash, Another’s Treasure

Here is some storyboarding I did for my game along with the working title. I decided to go with a simple linear storyline to give it more of a children’s book feeling. I want it to be a game someone could easily play with a child. My drawing is not that great but luckily that won’t really be a problem with the art style I am going to use.

I like the idea of incorporating the ‘interactive fiction’ idea through it being like an interactive storybook. Nowadays I think children learn to use technology very young and something like this story could be easy enough for a small child to go through the story on their own.

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.

I really enjoy this idea and aesthetic! It reminds me of growing up with Winne the Pooh and Frog and Toad.
    Good luck!!!<3

This looks great, I like the addition of the trash can as the raccoon’s backpack and how the interactive elements are the idea around it being a storybook. I imagine you’re going to draw the panels yourself?

I love this story idea and how every action feels so simple, yet so important. It gives me a feeling of nostalgia of when I was younger and all I had to worry about was ‘what adventures will my day of exploration bring me today?’. I also really like that the interaction with the sad hedgehog will show the importance of kindness. I can’t wait to see how everything turns out!

I really like the idea, and I like how you draw out the sketch visual by yourself, it’s really cool. but I’m wondering how you are going to implement the visual, is it going to be drawing on the computer? good luck

This simple linear relationship makes it easy to see where the story is going, and it also helps us understand how we structure the story as a whole. thank you for your sharing
