The Detective_Interactive Story Post 2

Here is a little intro that I wrote out for my interactive story. This allows the reader to have some context before beginning the game. It was also inspired by the conversation that we had with the guest speaker. Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, and other commentary. I hope you enjoy!

A1_Outline of Game

Before you begin the game it is important that you understand a couple of key elements. After each narrative text, you will be presented a couple of options / choices. In order to move forward, you must select one. Keep in mind that the decisions you make will influence your progression in the game. In addition, there will be underlined words within the text; additional text links inserted within the story. They will give you additional information on the characters or historical events. Keep in mind that when you select a text link, you can always return to the main narrative. This will allow you to have additional insight, if you so choose, before making a decision. This game is inspired by real events, as well as the book / film Under the Banner of Heaven. Keep in mind that due to the game’s interactive nature, facts about the event and characters should not be referenced as factual. Overall, this game is intended to inspire critical thinking within the detective’s mind. Finally, I hope you enjoy!

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.
