Loop

So something I didn’t catch in the initial planning stages is that I had accidentally added a potentially infinite loop that the player can get themselves stuck into if they choose a specific set of choices. While I doubt many players would get themselves stuck in this loop, it being there is a problem. I’m planning on fixing it by making the “big job” choice flow directly into the choices to steal certain things. That way the player will not be able to go into the path they just came from, and get themselves stuck in a loop of choices that doesn’t make much narrative sense.

    I think the fact that you’re trouble shooting this “loop” is probably going to give the player a better quality of life. It’s not really fun when you get stuck in one place, and having no way to get out. It also destroys the narrative, which you already mentioned.

    However, I do have one question- what will this “big job” really consist of? What do you plan on changing- and will that greatly affect everything else that you have already made?
