You muster up the last of your courage, and to protect your ego, you decided to fight against him and his gang. At least I don’t need two little bodyguards to follow me around. You stood up, spat on him and said in your most confident voice.
After the little show you put on, his mood instantly switched, and you could physically see the colour on his face become a deep shade of red. The onlookers all gasped. “Oh shit, did you see that?”, “He’s in deep shit now…”, “I don’t think we are gonna see him again tomorrow.” You hear similar things from all over the crowd, which makes you lose your balance and stumble back a little.
“GRAB HIM. Let’s go outside and talk a bit.” He ordered his lackeys as he wiped the spit off of his face.
You tried to run, but there was no more power in your legs. As they held you tight and brought you downstairs, everyone who was looking went back to eating as if nothing happened. Your heart sank.
They took you to an alleyway and started pounding on you until you were on the floor, but even then they did not stop. Kick after kick, stomp after stomp, in the end, you weren’t even able to keep holding onto the book that was in your hand since you left your lunch to find Sakura. “Oh, what’s this?” The man said as he snatched it out of your hands. As he opened the book and started flipping through the pages, laughter began to fill the space. “A Diary? Are you serious right now? He smirked as he tossed the book into a puddle near you. “Go back and cry to your mom kid, know. your. place.” He stated and walked away, but not before spitting back at you on your face.
