Eventually, she notices your presence, and turns back. “What do you want” She said with an annoyed tone. Startled, you quickly pieced together a sentence. “I saw you… I saw them…” You stumble through your words as you try to give out a response. “
“I don’t need your sympathy!” She screamed as she continued to limp off, but suddenly, her leg gave out and she stumbled to the floor. Your body moved on its own and caught her quickly, which left both you and her dumbfounded. She pushed you away quickly, but you heard her murmur “thank you” under her breath.
