You kneel down beside her, one hand around her shoulder to make sure she doesn’t collapse to the floor, and both of you sat there for the rest of the break in silence.
For the next few weeks, you made it your goal to be with her every moment you can get. whether it be talking with her, having lunch with her, or enjoying a break together on the playground. You learn that this was not the first time she had to deal with bullying, she lost her arm as well as her own mother in a car accident, and her dad is working three jobs to keep both of them under a roof, but because of issues with bullying at every school she has been to, they had to constantly move around Japan, and this makes it hard on not only her but her father as well.
