“You see, I thought this was me going insane, and I didn’t know it was possible, but God just had to prove me wrong.” You say as your voice becomes shaky.
“Go on, I’m here and I’m listening.” Sakura responds to you with her usual light voice.
“Well, you don’t have to believe me, and I understand if you don’t because I even think this is crazy. I seemed to have time travelled back to now, specifically the day you transferred over to our class. It’s almost as if… It’s almost as if God gave me a second chance… You know what, this is stupid, please just ignore everyth-”
“No,” She walks towards you, and puts a hand on your shoulder. “I believe you.” She says as she puts on her usual kind smile.
“I knew you would say that,” You reply with a sense of relief. “This school year, I’ve remembered every class, every lesson, even every gym class, but some things are different, I- I am different.”
“Is that why you always get higher grades than me on the tests? YOU CHEATERRRR!” She scoffs at you playfully, trying to lighten the mood.
You laugh at her comment and reach for the diary in your backpack.
“Here, this is the one thing that apparently came with me. It’s a diary I have been writing in. She took a look at the condition but did not ask for clarification.
