Bill and I met not too long ago, right when he began working at the police station Jan 1984. He moved to Salt Lake from Las Vegas, and is more rough around the edges than the typical cop here. It seems that he has dealt with a lot out there. He is also kind of a black sheep in this town if you know what I mean. Unlike the majority of people in his community, he isn’t a religious Mormon individual, and is of Indigenous Paiute descent. The Paiute people are in the Great Basin region of the States, and live a generally nomadic lifestyle. Overall, Bill is someone who walks to the beat of his own drum. He tends to point out things before I even get to them. When it comes to investigations, some people would say that he doesn’t see things through rose tinted glasses. Even though we bump up against each other at times, he is all round a good guy.
