A horror movie inspired me

One of the endings in my interactive story borrows an idea from a movie, actually a horror movie. I applied a similar technique inside the story’s ending (optionA).

the movie is called “Triangle”, one of my favorite horror movie

This writing technique uses infinite reincarnation or endless parallel space to make the player enter the infinite repetition of the plot. This writing technique also gives the text an open ending, leaving the reader to imagine what might happen next.

My intention is not to write my story as a horror story, in fact, I use this writing technique to leave the entire storyline to the reader or the player’s own imagination because I think this form of expression can be more attractive to the reader, or the ending to the reader, because everyone’s mind is different, so it also gives the story a thousand different conclusions。

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.

I love how you decided to leave the ending up to the players imagination even though it may feel incomplete in a way I love the idea of leaving it up to the player. Can’t wait to play it when I get a chance 🙂

I have never seen that movie but will definitely have to watch it now! Your concept is very unique and I like that the player needs to reflect and interpret the story themselves. Executing this style effectively is a serious talent, great work!
