You watch as the men fly off with Mary in their arms. You will be haunted by the look of betrayal on her face as you flagged them down moments after she begged you for help. You tell yourself that you did the right thing, who knows how dangerous that woman was, she was obviously the bad guy here.
You’re later escorted into a top-secret government building by some other high government officials. They’ve thanked you for your service to Zephyria and told you that after a brief exit interview you will be properly rewarded for what you did. They take you into a high-security department and down a long and bleak corridor before realizing you’re being interrogated. They seem to think that you know more than you really do. You try to convince them that Mary told you nothing at all and if you did know anything, they could trust you to keep their secret. Unfortunately, they can’t take the risk that their secrets have been compromised and you’re just a loose end that needs tying up. Whatever secrets they’re hiding are far more valuable than your life or the lives of others. Ultimately, your decision to betray Mary and her cause cost you your life. You made the wrong call and who knows what will transpire from your choice… Try again.
