Original story mind map + new story idea

After the start of developing this idea I changed my mind on my story but I think it would be valid to post my original story idea. After receiving proposal feedback on making sure “bad”/”wrong” decision seem like a valid option, it inspired me to make a story that doesn’t have a clear path of which is right or wrong. Additionally I finished watching “Erased” an anime and it has inspired me to create this new story. I’m currently working on s story about a girl who is currently being abuse by her mother’s (an alcoholic) boyfriend. Waking up from her abuse she finds herself in the past where she can now make decisions to change her present self’s life. I hope to be able to post a mind map of it here soon 😀

    sounds like a cool concept, will the player be able to to see how their decisions in the past effect the present, or will they only be able to see the impact of their actions at the end?

    Well done on being able to pivot from your previous idea! I know it can be hard to pivot, especially when you have something planned out already. This new idea seems really cool though! If there is no clear right or wrong ending, I think that will give the player more freedom to do what they really want to and interpret the game in their own way, which is really good for interactivity! I am looking forward to seeing the final product!

    I like that mechanic of making different decisions in her past allowing her to reflect on certain points in her life that she remembers. I like it and wonder what sort of story will come of it.

    I think the story you are trying to tell can be super impactful to people . The way you ave laid out your mindmap really helps to convey the ideas and message you want . I also think that the idea of reflection. on one’s life can have some cool interactive moments .
