General Pathway for Story

I hope I’m not posting my sketchblogs too informally, but here is the general pathway for my story. This sketch is mostly showing the plotline of how I want my visual novel to go.

General plotline for game

I wanted to add in more choices in between the events of the plot where the player can interact with the dateable characters, which is shown in the picture below. I try to add in the “affection points” variable to help the player feel like they worked towards the ending by choosing certain actions

There are a few more choices for interaction that I won’t add in today’s sketchblog, but hopefully sketching it out this way will help the players feel more engaged as they go through the adventure story part of the game.
