Maybe I’m overthinking it because it must be a particularly sunny day for playing, and my family brought my new toy so I could go to the park again. When I saw the new toy, my anxiety was instantly left behind and I was looking forward to having some fun in the park.
I was so excited all the way, I couldn’t wait to get off the car and play with my new toys right away.
We arrived at the park and there were quite a few people today. It must have been because the weather was surprisingly great today and everyone wanted to come out and enjoy the sunshine and the temperature was just right. I could tell the kid was happy too, he was looking out the window the entire time, it looks like he got to meet some new friends today.
Once the family parked the car, they let us out of the car and he seemed to go to the trunk to pack the things for the picnic. However, the kid didn’t seem to care that much and trotted off to the entrance of the park.
Suddenly I heard a loud noise at the other end of the parking lot coming towards us, and that man was driving a little too fast, not even noticing the kid, driving straight towards us. Seeing the little kid who had left the parking space, the extreme anxiety appeared again, too late to think, I ran as fast as I could towards him, using my body to knock him out of the way.
After a burst of brakes, I felt myself floating lightly and my body started to get out of control. I kept my eyes wide open and kept waving my legs to try to get up, but it didn’t work. I was panting violently on the ground, and my ears could hear the noise of the crowd and the sound of the kid crying. after I heard the kid cry, I know he was fine. it was good that he was alright.
But my eyes are feeling heavier and heavier, I guess I’m sleepy too. Maybe when I wake up from a nap, we can continue our picnic and I can play with my new toy. I saved that child’s life, my family will surely reward me with a snack.
I lost consciousness while thinking about it. Everything around me became silent.
