A movie that gave me just the right amount of ideas

Recently I watched an awe-inspiring movie called “A Dog’s Purpose”. I went to see this movie because it has the same presentation as my final story and thus gave me a lot of ideas. In particular, the central idea of the entire film is very similar to my story, using different kinds of incidents to express the friendship, or affection, between people and dogs.

And the film’s presentation is not like other films, uses the human perspective to view the feelings and relationship between dogs and humans, instead, this film from the dog’s point of view expresses the dog’s feelings and reliance on humans to tell the moving. This is exactly the same as my thought, to stand in a different perspective, so that the audience can be integrated into the whole story better.

The whole film is about a dog contemplating and chasing “the mission of a dog”, describing “his experience” in the dog’s voice, and seeing the people and stories he meets from the dog’s perspective. What’s more interesting is that the film is not limited to “one dog”, but links several different breeds of dogs and their owners together to tell the story of a dog with a soul who meets different people

After watching this movie, I can’t help but have a new thought, whether I can also use different dogs as branches of the whole story, like this movie, thus allowing the audience to have different perceptions of the story as well as interactivity

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.

for sure! Throughout my story’s creation process, I’ve gotten inspired by certain media I’ve seen or heard many times. It helps to do this to get new ideas or perspectives on things you’ve never thought of before.
