SB #10 Title page+passage+storyline

Since I don’t have much time, I didn’t even attempt to code the title, I just drew it. Here’s how it looks:

I wanted to give it a comic-book/children’s-picture-book kind of feel. I think I got it. Would’ve definitely worked on it more if I had more time. Maybe added a bit color. I do like the black and white look though.

Here’s a video of the beginning of the story looks like:

Ahhhh I suffered so much with Twine, but looking at this video just gives me a great sense of accomplishment. If I ever make something on Twine again, maybe I’ll attempt coding a title. But since I don’t have much time, my drawing will do.

Here’s a clip of one of my favorite parts of the story: (There are sound effects, and they’re pretty loud, so make sure your sound is on low volume!)

Just–the hooks, the timing, the sound effects are all on point here. Well, the sound effects do sound a bit off, but those were the best I found. Now I’m gonna force all my friends to play and tell me what they think.

Originally, I intended my story to be a branching storyline that funnels into one ending, but alas, plans change and making art never goes according to plan. Here’s a full view of my storyline:

I know– there’s barely any sub-stories. But there are many hooks throughout the passages that are technically optional, so different people would still get a different experience depending on what they happen to click. And I think I fulfilled my purpose with making this story, so overall, I’m happy with how to turned out.

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.
