Undertale

I recently watched a playthrough of a YouTuber playing Undertale. The game is basically an interactive story, where the player plays as a little girl walking through a “monster kingdom” and solves puzzles to progress through the story.

I read up on the game a bit more to see the different endings and there were so many Easter eggs to be found everywhere. I love how well thought out all of the outcomes were, and I wanted to incorporate a similar feel to my own story. It was very interesting to see how important the decision of the player was when it came to There was also a character named “Sans” who’s character concept I really liked. I wanted to make one of my own characters similar to Sans, but for the sake of time, I don’t think it will be possible.

Might be something to think about for the future if I decide to create another game!

If you’ve lost your way in the IFStravaganza, you can always go back to the beginning.

In this kind of game full of easter eggs, when you find the first easter egg, you will go back and find out if you missed something. This kind of surprise is really strong.

Undertale is definitely a great example of interactive media with easter eggs and multiple endings . It’s definitely worth playing the game too. I would look into how the game messes with the player and the choices too, especially with the pacifist run.
